Meet Up report

We all met up outside the Doctor Who Exhibition around 1pm and had a wander around the exhibition. I really like the re-design and how it's all set out now. I felt a bit fangirly at seeing all the series 4 props and costumes!!!

From there we went on a locations tour, starting with the bay locations. We even popped into the Senedd to have a little look around.............after bag checks and metal detectors!!!

We had a brief tea break at Herb & Ellies, who do yummy looking cakes......which I resisted!!! hehe It was a nice chance for us all to have a proper chat..........about "The Angel"'s street walking friends!! lol We then jumped on a train towards Queen Street to see the "Adipose" building and further on towards the Museum. Sadly, I had to leave the tour at this point due to a late check in at my hotel but I'm sure the others can fill in the blanks from here.

In the evening, we met up at Pizza Express for our meal.........a party of 13!!!! Not that I'm superstitious!! lol It was a really nice night, lots of talk and laughter and lovely food!! The staff at Pizza Express were fantastic and it's definitely somewhere I'd recommend if you're in Cardiff.

Some of us did move on to the Salt Bar afterwards but didn't stay too long as it was far too packed!!! I think we were all pretty tired anyway and glad to get back to our beds!! hehe

As I've said before, thank you so much to all of you who attended, it was really nice to finally put faces to forum names!!!
